Moto-Psycho Nightmare

I drove to Brighton and back a few days ago, a ten-hour round trip from where I live, and no joke under current weather conditions. Had to be done, though.
Ten hours of the virtual reality that is motorway driving does weird things to your head, and so I pulled into a Moto services area to close my eyes for a bit. I awoke in terror, convinced that I was still on the road, asleep at the wheel. A true nightmare. Passers by must have wondered at the wild-eyed man in the VW, slapping himself repeatedly around the face.
I was so glad to be alive that even a MacDonalds coffee tasted good.

Can imagine your relief upon returning finally and entering your drive way...to a home brewed coffee or tea!
I hate long drives alone!

I quite like driving alone, but this was just a bit too much to tackle in one day. The snow was getting worse, though, and it was a case of either keep going or risk getting stuck for the night.
